Jack has become our ‘brother in spirit’ and a good friend. We met him in Trinidad and Tobago – he himself had just completed an Atlantic crossing from South Africa to Brazil and had travelled alone on the Amazon through South America. We showed him ‘Travelling Man‘ by Andrew James, Vicky Lucato and the Neojiba Orchestra and explained our concept to him. Jack was excited about our project and immediately contributed his great song ‘Radiate‘, which he had written during his Atlantic voyage and which we recorded the next day in an abandoned radar station.
Later we met Jack again in Florida and travelled with him in an old school bus through the USA to record musicians. He wrote some more great songs during this time, like ‘Beth‘ or ‘Leap Of Faith‘ and became an integral part of our project.

When our film ‘Blown Away’ was finally released, we toured Germany with him and he inspired many people with his music. In the meantime Jack lives again in his home country South Africa, on a farm. With ‘Radiate’ he wrote the anthem for our movie.
