We met street musician Kia Cavallaro right on our first day in New Orleans in the French Quarter. She played banjo and sang with an incredible voice, somewhere between country and blues. Kia invited us to her house and improvised to ‘Radiate‘, the song by Jack Mantis. Then in the afternoon we drove to the Mississippi River and recorded her song ‘Mountain Home’. It was a wonderful day with Kia.
