Lincoln is a good friend, a gifted singer-songwriter and guitarist who has contributed some important songs to our project. He also wrote the extraordinary intro song ‘All that I’m leaving’, for our film ‘Blown Away’, which we recorded with him on a hotel balcony in Hua Hin.
Lincoln loved our project from the first moment and soon became an important part of it himself. He visited us in Thailand, where we also recorded ‘Being Slow‘ and later in the US. Lincoln provided us with inspiration, ideas and important contacts with musicians. For example, Lindiwe Suttle from Cape Town. He also contributed other songs like: ‘Eli’ and ‘Life’ to the soundtrack.
During our cinema tour, Lincoln thrilled the audience with his guitar playing. A quote that says it all: “Lincoln has a rare gift. He manages to wring every last drop of emotion from his guitar. His lyrics are as honest as his technique is flawless.” LUX, Berlin
