Alejandro Luis Esteban plays double bass and comes from Santiago de Cuba. When we met him he was playing bass in a bar. We explained to him what we were doing and he was immediately enthusiastic about our project. Through Alejandro we also met trumpeter Joan Carlos Ortega and together we had a wonderful session on the roof of a house in Santiago.
