Yuri Azevedo is a conductor and comes from Salvador de Bahia in Brazil. We met him together with his younger brother Caio Azevedo and pianist Aline Falcao when we were invited by the Neojiba Orchestra. Yuri conducted the orchestra in the recording of ‘Travelling Man’ by Vicky Lucato and Andrew James. It was wonderful. Now Yuri is a well-known conductor in Brazil.
