Udaya Kumara plays Tabla and runs a music shop with his brother Saman Lenin in Galle, Sri Lanka. Udaya plays his instrument with an incredible feeling and is technically perfect.
All tablas on our album “AAA” were therefore played by him. In the soundtrack of ’Blown Away’ he plays ’Kalighata‘. The recordings with him were a lot of fun. He is probably the best tabla player in Sri Lanka.
